- Slide triangular bandage under with longest edge parallel to their body
- Ensure bandage tip protrudes past elbow of affected arm
- Bring the other end up to meet and tie together
- Twist the end near the elbow on the affected arm to tighten
- Tuck twist in
- Regularly check circulation
- Loosen bandage if required
